ABBS School of Management (ABBSSM) during its tenure of more than a decade in management education is driven by its academic program, its analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving, the research impact of its faculty, the ambition and creativity of its students and the business successes of its alumni.  The Institute is the articulation of its Vision to develop “….Contemporary Management Education necessary to adapt to a continuously changing Business Environment”.

In a world where everyone talks about synergies and leveraging assets to introduce experiential learning into its PGDM, the Institute has formed Industry-Institute collaborations with several agencies and institutions of repute to name a few CRIMM (Centre for Research in Materials Management, the research arm of IIMM (Indian Institute of Materials Management), Project Management Institute (PMI), jointly offer certifications in the area of Scrum and Agile and Six Sigma. Collaborations with Rabindrik Psychotherapy Research Institute (Indian Statistical Institute, ISI) aids to disseminate knowledge about the basic theories about the role of Psychology in Business and to understand Research Methodology and basic statistics in Business Psychology. International MoUs with Rennes School of Business, Virginia Tech USA etc have enabled student faculty exchange and has taken internationalization to the next level. The international accreditations from IACBE (International Accreditation Council for Business Education) and SAQS accreditation is the recognition to the institution’s commitment to Quality and Quality Assurance through continuous improvement.  The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) accreditation is yet another feather in the cap of the Institute.

Thus the robust curriculum of the PGDM program containing core, elective and practice-based papers, value added certifications, co-curricular and extracurricular activities coupled with courses like the Campus to Community enables and empowers students to take ethical and socially responsible roles as it sensitizes the students to the grass root issues and needs of the community. The research component and the IIP  (short and long term) embedded in the course plan enable students to improve their critical and analytical thinking, communication skills and demonstrate their ability to work in professional business environments. The ‘Theatre in Management ‘, introduced by the Institute seeks to extract students from their silos and communicate with each other, evolve as a team player, hone leadership skills and interact with the outside world with confidence and ease. Therefore, these facilitate students to understand the various facets and dynamics of global business and cross-cultural issues and design effective strategies within the global business environment. Through a variety of meetings, special events, guest speakers, projects and fellowships, the students gain hands on experience in the world of business. Students learn to deal with deadlines, managing people, coordinating with third parties and managing funds.
