About the Visit:
KSDL is Govt of Karnataka undertaking company, started in 1916 by Nalvadi Krishnarajendra Odeyar, the then Maharaja of Mysore state under the suggestion and concrete plan of Sir M Visvesvarya the then deewan of Mysore state. It manufactures a variety of FMCG products the main brand being MYSORE SANDAL SOAP that enjoys the international brand status of having manufactured with purest sandalwood oil.The students have learnt and experienced the entire manufacturing process of KSDL. Mr. Balakrishna, Head, R & D, KSDL has escorted us throughout the visit.
